DS Outlays Funding (DSOF) is the trading name of Debt Smart Pty Ltd, a privately owned company. The owner, Kerry Splatt, is an accredited specialist in Personal Injury Law with the Queensland Law Society. Over the last 20 years, Kerry has successfully offered his clients access to an in-house litigation outlays facility. DSOF was established in 2016 to provide a litigation outlays facility to other law firms for their Personal Injuries and TPD claims.

Kerry Splatt, Director of DSOF, is a true advocate for those injured in an accident. In 2016, Kerry was awarded the Australian Lawyers Alliance (ALA) Civil Justice Award in recognition of outstanding achievement in promoting justice, freedom and the rights of the individual. He believes that when clients are already financially distressed as a result of their accident they should not endure the additional burden of funding their outlays.
Kerry has practiced exclusively in Insurance litigation since 1982 and established Splatt Lawyers in 1996 – a leading personal injuries law firm in Brisbane.
Kerry is admitted to the Supreme Court of Queensland, and holds a Bachelor of Laws (UQ) and a Bachelor of Arts (UQ).
